Jack Ostin collaborated with Ethan Smith on several Protokol Records releases. Their first joint project, Just Jackin', was released in 2014, followed by the track Houdini Down on Ethan Smith & Friends. The duo reunited in 2020 for Energize / About Me. These collaborations connect two periods of the catalog through rhythmic, raw and groove-driven hardtechno.
